At the age of 3, he was riding bicycles & motorcycles. By 4, he was racing BMX, off road motorcycles, & go carts as well. He raced BMX for 1 season , winning locally & nationally. He raced go carts for 2 seasons.
His main focus between the ages of 4 & 8 was off road motorcycle racing, where he won local, regional, & national races. In 2005, he won the state championship race for the pee-wee class, & finished 2nd in 2006.
His Quarter Midget racing began midway into the 2006 season at the age of 8. Starting in the Junior Novice class, he competed in 4 races before moving up to the Junior Honda class. After 6 Junior Honda races, he turned 9 & moved up to Sr. Honda. In 2007, his accomplishments included a 2nd place finish in the Sr. Honda Mini Indy championship series & 3rd in the state championship series.
In 2008, he continued racing the Sr. Honda & Lt. 160 classes. He had a great season, winning 30 out of 58 A main races. The final results for the 2008 season include him winning the Sr. Honda & Lt. 160 Mini Indy Championship Series, the Sr. Honda & Lt. 160 State Championship Series, as well as the Sr. Honda Regional Series. He finished 2nd in the Lt. 160 Regional Series.
He’s looking forward to Columbus Indoors & the 2009 racing season.
